Mounting Giclees

Stretching or Mounting

We have the ability to do either to your canvas print editions but we have chosen to do Mounting.

To stretch or to mount? That is indeed the question.

Mounting is an alternative to stretching canvas, it’s advantage is that it adds durability and strength to any print. This is why we have chosen this form of mounting the Giclees.
We use acid free, pH balanced Gatorfoam and an archival, aggressive adhesive to mount each print. The board can then be cut to the size of your desired portrait. This is the same process that most museums have now gone to as well as the LDS Church.
